This is a very comfortable shoe. It holds snug and is well-fitted around the instep and heel. It also provides massive amounts of toe room. This makes it light and comfortable, it moves well with the foot, but it leaves everything in front of the arch completely unencumbered. I usually wear running shoes and hiking boots and decided to get something casual yet a little dressier. These are very comfortable and need no break in time. Exactly what I was looking for. I am recovering from major knee surgery and have been on a mission to find a comfortable pair of shoes that I can wear to work. After trying on any and all brands I found these Merrells to be just about perfect for me. The are very comfortable right out of the box and have helped me in my recovery. I plan on getting another pair in a different color.

Very comfortable, ok for office on casual days.Exactly what I was looking for and would buy again. They felt good right out of the box. I bought them because I already had a pair of Danskos that I liked that were getting worn. These shoes “fill their shoes”. Like other Merrell styles before it, I have found the Dansko Melina A good fit and A comfortable shoe. As has been noted already, the shoe does require A regular coat of polish/cream to keep the finish attractive. I fly quite a bit and intensly hate TSA (thousands standing around) making me take of my shoes. So, decided if this is going to continue, that I’d get a comfortable pair of slip ons, they have special antimicrobial leather sock lining for added comfort. Bought a brown pair and liked their ease of use, comfort, and good looks so bought a black pair too! I don’t know about the sun activation stuff they talk about but so far so good across the board. My husband is a physician and is on his feet all day. This shoe is very supportive and feels good all day. This is the third pair that he has gotten and loves them all.

You can’t really tell by the pics but this shoe has a bulbous toe area. It makes me feel like i’m wearing some kind of orthopedic shoe. It’s comfortable, but if I hadn’t worn them on a business trip the day after I got them I would have returned them just because of the looks. I do like the look of the normal moc though – I also bought a pair of shiver mocs and am very happy with them, though I couldn’t really wear them for work.

I bought the Melina shoes after trying on an identical pair at Dicks Sporting Goods at A fraction of the price. For A casual shoe they are the most comfortable I have ever worn. I was somewhat skeptical in buying them online since I have A difficult time getting shoes to fit properly. Purchasing the shoes from Shoebuy.com could not have been easier, it took just A couple of minutes. They arrived at my house in A few days after ordering, not weeks as I have experienced from other online stores. I will definitely buy from them again!
