Dansko Serena Sandals, Excellent Foot Support.

Review submitted by Rebecca: What I like about this shoe is that I feel like I am propelled forward in a comfortable way as I am walking, Excellent Foot support. It is almost like a gentle rocking motion that keeps my feet going heel/toe…heel/toe instead of my whole foot feeling jarred by every step. I think it is a good shoe for people on their feet for much of the day. If you want something soft and cushy I don’t think this is the shoe for you. This shoe offers very excellent support but in a firm way. Don’t expect this to feel like a sneaker. This is great for walking on hard smooth surfaces. I notice my arthritic knees do not ache at the end of the day if I have been wearing this shoe. I have owned my pair for two years and they are just worn a little at the heels. I am just a size 8 with a slightly wide foot. In this shoe I am a 38. I had a pair of Dansko Serena Sandals which I wore at least four times a week for 5 years until they were worn out. I was thinking of getting another pair of those since I liked them so much.

Everyone Wear Danko Veda at my Hospital

Shoe is too tight – I work at a hospital and everyone wears Dansko. I was excited to finally get a pair and I really wanted these: the Veda sneaker in the reddish brown color. When I got them (a size larger than I typically wear, as was suggested) they were extremely difficult to put on. I had to push with all my weight to get my foot inside. Then, once they were on, my toes would go numb after 20 minutes. I thought maybe I could power through this to stretch them out but a co-worker of mine said the same thing happened to her and she powered through and wore them everyday despite the tightness and ended up with a nerve palsy that took months to heal. So I took them in to a store that sells them and they said that with the Cabrios it was pretty common that people brought them back for being too tight. I tried on a size larger just to check and they were huge so I just ended up exchanging them for a different style (can’t remember the name but it was with oiled leather and I could immediately feel the difference- they were so comfortable). So in the end I love the Veda Shoes that I ended up with, they are extremely comfortable and supportive and I wear them daily.

Merrell Jungle Moc Nubuck For Neuroma and Planter Fasciitis Patients

Upon the suggestion from my foot Dr., I purchased my first pair of Jungle Moc’s 6 years ago. I can honestly say I wouldn’t be able to be on my feet all day if I wasn’t wearing Merrell shoes, my favorite being the Jungle Moc. I suffer from neuroma and Planter Fasciitis, and these shoes provide me with the support and comfort that I need. (If necessary, I can remove the cushion liner, and insert my orthotics.) Living in N.D., I deal with walking on ice and snow daily, and these shoes are great ‘grippers’ for those conditions. I have all day comfort, even with cement floors. I highly recommend Merrell Jungle Moc Nubuck for anyone looking for a comfortable good supporting shoe. I’ll never be without these shoes. I have suffered so much with aching throbbing feet from other shoes, these shoes are truly a Godsend for me.

I have a standard narrow 8 foot size, these were perfect. Knowing that I’d be wearing them with a heavier sock I was pleased at the fit for my narrow foot. They are a bit roomy without feeling sloppy. Toe box is wider which allows for comfort when walking distances. Great for the rainy northwest weather. Casual style. Goes well with jeans. Tried them with tights – didn’t like the look.
