Several months ago I bought a shoe without laces and with the stretch feature that allows you to get them on easily while still keeping a firm fit. It was comfortable and I love the no-string feature. Unfortunately is was cheap and the soles wore out in 3 or 4 months. The Merrell shoe looked very similar so I ordered it. It is durable, look good and is quite comfortable. I am happy with this purchase.
Using the Passports for about 3 weeks now. They are a comfortable and lightweight. I like the easy and and off of a slip on, especially with winter coming! Good soft leather and nice casual look. I had been looking for slip-on brown shoes that were nice enough to wear for work and casual enough to wear out and about and this is the perfect solution! I’ve had a very hard time finding shoes since I wear 14/15 shoe size, but these are very comfortable from day 1 through the past month of wearing them almost every day. I have been a fan of Merrie clogs for a number of years. The sizing is consistent so I feel confident in buying shoes online and knowing they will be a perfect fit. I bought Dansko Merrie shoes because I have had previous good experiences with the brand. Also, I needed a pair of shoes that were airport friendly, casually comfortable, but looked dressy enough to accompany a sport coat without causing raised eyebrows. The bed is quite comfortable. My only negative is that if you have a high instep, like me, I found the shoe tight. I debated on sending them back, but I gave it a trial time and they loosened up a bit. Still they are tighter than similar slip-ons.
Love these shoes! I bought them for work (business casual) and they fit the bill completely. Like all the Merrell shoes I own, these are comfortable enough for all day wear. The World portray the same level of high quality that the rest of their shoes do; however, like all Merrell, don’t expect more than one year out of them for daily wear, the soles wear out long before the uppers. The World are a little wider than the Merrell Mocs, but I liked that for a business shoe. My husband loves this shoe. It is super comfortable. He wishes it were a little bit more dressy so that it would work better for work, but it goes well with khaki pants.
This shoe is the most comfortable shoe you can find. There is no break in period. Its a little wide and takes some time to adjust. But walking with this shoe feels like you have slippers on.
I have another pair of Danskos that I’ve been wearing for over a year now. They are the most comfortable shoe I’ve ever worn. The “MC” is also a comfortable shoe, but seems to fit a little looser than my first pair; even though both are size 14 Regular.
