I am an older woman and wouldn’t want to be without my Merrells. I wear them every day and have them in many colors. They are the best for fit and comfort. This is my 3rd pair. I spend 8-10 hrs a day on my feet as a hairstylist. Since i have been wearing these, my feet and legs are not fatigued at all. I plan to order 2 more pairs in different colors. Here are the 3 most important reasons why I love these shoes. 1) They’re comfortable.2) I can take the insoles out and put in my orthotics, which don’t fit in many shoes.3) My daughters and my nieces think they’re good looking. This was my first pair of Merrells, and it will not be my last. I have a narrow foot and the shoes is a little wide for me, but it’s a shoe I can wear with a sock and width does not make for any problems holding the shoe on my foot, it’s just a ‘roomier’ feeling than I’m used to. The shoes keep my feet warm without causing them to sweat. They’re good looking enough to wear to work. I am a medical professional who stands up all day long. I will try shoe in a half size smaller to see how that fits, but overall I am delighted.

If you are looking for a shoe that is so comfortable that you don’t even know you are wearing something, this is it! I bought 3 pairs. I’m using one as a house slipper. But I have found that the sizing is somewhat different for different colors. I bought this shoe because it was suggested by my podiatrist as a good shoe to start with after having foot surgery (bunion/hammertoe). It’s true, it’s comfortable and it’s the only shoe that currently fits my foot! It looks good with jeans and casual clothes, but I can’t say that it is stylish. However, if it’s comfort you want, this is an excellent shoe. I already had a pair of these shoes,and bought 2 additional pairs in different colors, because they were so comfortable. I’ve always bought Dansko Ava slide but this shoe was a disappointment. The color was awful. Instead of a dark gray it looked almost green. I bought an extra 1/2 size bigger than I used to take but it felt narrow and did not fit correctly. Great, easy to wear, comfortable shoe …so says my wife. She’s on her second pair. It seems the inside wears out faster than the outside. They still looked great, just didn’t have the same confort inside. She has worn them every other day probably for a year and a half. These shoes are the best buy ever. Comfortable right out of the box and when they get dirty, slip out the insole and wash them in the washer. This was the third pair of Merrell Breeze shoes I have bought. I originally read about the shoes in a magazine in my doctor’s office. The article stated that Ava shoes were so comfortable that buyers would trade their street shoes for their Dansko the minute they walked into the house. I found my experience to be exactly that. Now that I’m retired, I get to wear my Merrells all the time.
